Son loves it!
Great app from a great new developer
I have now downloaded 4 apps from this developer. What is great about this one is that they dont fall into the standard pattern of making all the letters into nouns. Using the magic of apps, each letter is represented by an action word (verb), which is a great way to teach new vocabulary. Only reason I didnt give this app 5 stars is that they decided to change the words at the end of the ABC song. Not cool. Kids learn these rote. Not cool to mess with that.
Letters for actions instead of things
One of the best alphabet apps in the store. Letters are for actions ("B" is for Build) instead of things. Each letter is a mini-activity. Highly recommended.
Alphatots
Love it, love it! And your other apps too!! Alphatots is great for my two year old grandson and excellent for review with JK/SK kids or with my struggling pre-readers in grade 1 at the school where I volunteer. The clear, slower paced voice, simple format and errorless approach make it a real hit. It was my first purchase from Spinlight but I have bought several more today. Love the graphics, content, and performance of each app. thank you!! Looking forward to more educational apps from Spinlight - way to go!
My son loves this game.
Hes 18 months and its helped him so much.
Doesnt work!
Bought this and it never worked. Wont pass loading screen. Tried all listed fixes to no avail. Now have the jump through hoops for a refund. Dont waste your money and time me.
Annoying hold to tap feature
The app doesnt let kids change letters whenever they want unless they hold down a letter for several seconds. My toddler gets frustrated with this and just exits the app. The app should be responsive to what the child wants, not force the child to sit through something that the child finds uninteresting.
