Track where your money is going with this simple but powerful personal finance app. The Better-than-Budgeting-App is for everybody who doesn’t need thousands of features but are looking for a simple, beautiful app to track personal spending. ========== IMPORTANT INFORMATION: This app has a successor app from the same developer called "Finfluence". Based on the same concepts, Finfluence was recreated from scratch with many enhancements and improvements. A data transfer from Better than Budgeting is available. ========== Better than Budgeting: This app has a strong focus on simplicity. It can be so easy to record a transaction: tap the desired category from the apps home screen --> the QuickAdd-dialog opens – from here, you can enter the desired amount with a large, easy to read number pad --> hit OK and you’re done. The amount you entered is automatically assigned to the current day. 95% of the time that’s all you need. And if you really need to enter more details (different date, payment method, comments, etc.) you can use a detailed dialog. The app does not have every function you can imagine, but rather utilizes a solid set of features. It aims to be an app you actually use - not just install. It’s ad-free and no Internet connection is required. Usage scenarios: - Use it as your primary spending tracker - Use it to record your spending on the road in combination with another tool at home - The app can also be used temporarily to keep track of a shopping tour, vacation or business trip - A compatible desktop app is also available (see below) Main Features: - From the Category List, you can reach all the central functions with a single tap - Categories can be grouped by expenses, income and investments - Assign each category a suitable icon - Enter transactions with the QuickAdd dialog without having to use the native keyboard - Several charts and reports are available - Configure two standard payment options to be used within the QuickAdd dialog - No Internet connection is required - Export your data to CSV - Mail yourself the exported data directly from the app - Backup and recovery features - Detailed documentation is also integrated A free compatible desktop app for Windows or Mac is also available.

Tut was sie soll, Probleme mit Zeitzonen

Ich nutze die App jetzt seit einigen Monaten. Früher habe mein Haushaltsbuch immer von Hand geschrieben und ausgerechnet, mit der App geht das deutlich schneller und die Auswertung ist auch interessant. Bis jetzt hätte ich 5 Sterne gegeben, nun habe ich die App aber auch im Urlaub verwenden wollen (man will ja wissen was die Urlaubskasse hergibt). Mit der anderen Zeitzone kam die App aber nicht klar (Kanaren): Plötzlich waren alle monatlichen Wiederholungen auf den 31ten des Monats gesetzt, vor der Reise waren sie noch auf den 01ten. Somit hatte der aktuelle Monat keine Geldeingänge etc. mehr. Ich hätte alles händisch umstellen müssen, habe aber darauf verzichtet und den Urlaub ohne Überblick verbracht. Und siehe da, zu Hause angekommen waren alle Einträge von alleine wieder normal.

Habe es noch nie geschafft so lange am Stück ein Haushaltsbuch zu führen! Eine riesige Hilfe und nicht mehr wegzudenken!

Pro: Saubere einfache Benutzeroberfläche Kinderleichte Bedienung Keine Werbung oder In-App Käufe Verbesserungsbedarf: Synchronisierung könnte besser sein (automatisch über iCloud oder ähnliches) Mehr Farben wäre auch super Aber klare Empfehlung, das beste was ich bis jetzt hier gesehen habe. Weiter so

Nutze die App schon seit über drei Jahren. Als Studentin habe ich so einen guten Überblick über meine Finanzen! Lässt sich sehr gut bedienen und ist eigentlich ziemlich selbsterklärend. Ich finde es auch gut, dass es gerade keine voreingestellten Kategorien gibt. Das hat mich bei anderen Apps immer gestört, da ich die eh immer umbenannt habe.

Oft haben App-Entwickler den Ehrgeiz, alles in eine App zu packen, was irgendwie geht. Dann steigt schnell die Komplexität und nicht selten geht die Einfachheit dabei verloren. Nicht so bei "mehr-vom-geld". Hier sind die Kernthemen: Einnahmen, Ausgaben, Invest fest vorgegeben und der Anwender schafft sich mit wenigen, einfachen Schritten seine individuelle Umgebung in Form von Kategorien. So kann man schnell beginnen, etwas zu erfassen und - wenn man will - später granularer werden. Da das Ding für PC und mobile Geräte verfügbar ist und eine Synchronisation verfügbar ist, entscheidet man selbst, wann man wo etwas einträgt. Wiederkehrende Ein-/Ausgaben werden mit Fälligkeit und Intervall genau einmal erfasst und danach automatisch bei Fälligkeit eingetragen. Ich bin höchst begeistert und empfehle die App sehr gern weiter.

Sowohl ich als auch mein Freund benutzen diese App jetzt seit über einem halben Jahr. Sie ist sehr übersichtlich und gut strukturiert aufgebaut, mit wenigen Klicks hat man etwas eingtragen. Bisher die erste Art von Haushaltsbuch bei der ich wirklich dauerhaft(!) am Ball geblieben bin. Sehr zu empfehlen!
