Still no option to turn off the sleep mode of the program so it is useless for everyone who reads a lot of text at the screen. The app will always go to sleep cause either mouse or keyboard are used and you will never get reminded of a break… There should be an option that the break will come every x minutes, indepent of everything else

App is OK
Simple, basic, but does what it says. If you forget how long you are at the computer this will effectively remind you to take a break. However, you must look in the menu bar for the controls. The developer was prompt and helpful to me.
Does not work
I bought this program so that I could attempt to prevent myopia (nearsightedness). The "Take a Break Now" option works, but whenever the timer times out, the break window never appears. Running Mac 10.7.2 So far, I am not preventing myopia.
Отличная программа с полезными советами.
I like it!
Very well done
This is a very nice app, which does its job well. One issue, though, is that it doesnt offer the option to disable breaks while specific apps are in the forefront, so youll end up getting "breaks" during presentation or gaming sessions, where you might not want them. But thats an easy fix, and once thats done, this is my favorite RSI prevention app ever.
Simple functionality, beautiful implementation
As advertised, this app provides a gentle nudge every so often to get away from the screen and go do something else. The calming images and hints were an unexpected and charming bonus. It notices if youve been away for a while, and only starts its timing for the next break after you start in again -- very appropriate. After using it for a week, I have found it to be a very unintrusive, yet effective, reminder. I do find myself wishing for a "snooze" option, so that when the break comes up I could choose to be reminded again in just a few minutes (let me choose: 2, 5, 10, 15…) so I can keep going a little to reach a good stopping point. Otherwise, just great.
Effective, but not Obnoxious
I am trying to work up to 10,000 steps per day. I want to get up from my desk periodically and walk around a bit, but I keep forgetting. This app is perfect for reminding me to take a walking break. The reminder is just the right type - not too loud, but gets my attention. Especially in an office, you dont want a loud alarm going off. There is also a pop-up in the corner of the screen. As with the sound, it is the perfect amount of notice. It is large enough to notice, but doesnt take over the entire screen. The notification gives you the choice of taking a break or skipping it. If you decide to take the break, then a much larger screen opens up with a very soothing picture, plus advice on what to do for the break - e.g., roll your shoulders or rotate your wrists. Each time, it is something different. I take their suggestion and then get up for my walking break. Overall, a great reminder app.
