Description

Play the british game of Fives and Threes as played using the crib board! This challenging and fun game is a popular pub game in Britain, and is often played in pub leagues and tournaments. It is also the game played in the British National Dominoes Championship. The game is a member of the Fives family, in which points are scored for making the ends of the layout add up to certain totals, in this case multiples of 3 and 5. FEATURES: - one or two players - scoring and training modes - help tutorial and in-game hints - auto-save when interrupted - sound music and animation - turn off game music for iPod audio (settings) - crib board - score up to 31, 61, 91 or 121 points - 7 or 9 tiles game - online high scores - 4 tile sets and game themes available - and much more ... Satisfies an old longing

I used to play this game regularly at a Royal Canadian Legion in Lac La Biche, AB; its fun, addictive and challenging. Now I dont have to wait to go back out West to play - I can play on my iPhone anytime I like! Its an easy game to learn and I highly recommend teaching it to others. Once you do you can play with a partner in groups of four and feel the drama escalate - this game is a blast!

I played the American Domino version (by Sorenso) and that game is fun...British Domino is even better! Takes a minute to get used to the game rules (I had to look up the game online, which is known as fives and threes) but soon found myself playing it more than the American version, since I like seeing my peg far ahead of the computers. Crashed twice, but then again I must have played it 50+ times so Ive gotten my moneys worth out of it. If you like dominoes, give it a try!

Cannot recommend. This app has not been updated for years now, and the online scores link is dead. Try another dominoes or Fives and Sevens app first.

Still good for play

I cannot believe it is going on seven years since I first purchased this app. It could stand to be updated, but for dominoes without bells, whistles, and ads, its nearly perfect. I come back to this game again and again. I knocked off a star for the lack of update. With every OS upgrade, I have checked to see if it still works. I hope the developers will consider updating it.
