Description
CANReader 2.5 is a tool to monitor and display raw data or translated messages in engineering units from automotive CAN data communications. It connects via WiFi to a CANLink WLAN device built by RM Michaelides Software & Elektronik GmbH. The CANLInk WLAN device is connected to the physical CAN bus.
The iOS device can connect directly to the CANLink WLAN with an ad hoc WiFi connection or they can connect over a network through WiFi access points. The IP Address of the CANLink WLAN device must be input on the iOS device to establish the connection. (If an ad hoc connection is used, make sure you input the iOS device’s static IP address before making the connection. Setting it afterward doesn’t work.)
