Sign Inventory is designed to support federal and state mandated street sign management. It was developed to facilitate data collection in the field for an initial inventory, subsequent updates and maintenance. Users can quickly geo-locate a sign, set MUTCD type, record reflectometry and collect additional data (picture, direction faced, geocoded address, etc.) All activities are logged so that any changes can be tracked, reviewed and audited. Custom note fields can also be added. Everything is saved in a SQLite database which can be exported as is or in CSV or XML Workspace Document format The free version is a stand alone application limited to 100 sign locations suitable for small municipalities. The paid version supports unlimited sign locations (20,000+), customized maps including aerial photography, additional data fields and administrative features designed to export the collected data to server based GIS systems.
