As an avid traveler within the Caribbean, Carib Watch is the only app which sends me real time updates with regards to major weather conditions, like Hurricane, Tropical Storm and other weather systems. This is a must have app for anyone who lives, works and travels in the Caribbean and environs.
Has potential, needs some work
The good: It has the possibility to centralize all watches, warnings, and alerts throughout the entire Caribbean and send them straight to your media devices. So far, it seems Earthquakes (just barely) have been covered and tropical storm information has been included. Where work is needed: -Relay warnings from all meteorological agencies across the Caribbean and filter them based on islands affected/covered -Be consistent and up to date with Earthquake notifications and Tsunami information Statements issued by the NTWC and PTWC for the Caribbean -FIX ALL BUGS. The "Check in with your network" feature does not work -Make the app user friendly EG when scrolling down, keep the back button at the top of the screen rather than having the user scroll all the way back up the screen to return to the previous window. Overall though, I think this app has massive potential and Id like to see where the developers take it from here!
