Resource Point’s Community Tool is an informational guide of community organizations which are either faith based, non-profits, or governmental from the Central Florida counties of Seminole, Orange, Osceola, Lake, Brevard, Volusia, and Polk all of which address social service needs. An organization’s profile includes contact person, address, phone numbers, web site, email addresses, hours of ops, disability access, fees, eligibility requirements for services, services provided, volunteer opportunities, in kind donations requested and more. Resource Point’s Community Tool is provided as a public service. We will use our best efforts to include accurate and up to date information on listed organizations, but we make no warranties or representations as to the accuracy of the information. The iPhone ® App for Bowman Systems CommunityPoint ® is the first ever mobile application for the 2-1-1/Information and Referral industry. Use this application to locate Resources on the go without needing a full computer. With this application you can: + Search for Resources by name and have the results ordered by relevancy or distance from your current location*. + Advanced Search for more search power. + Common Searches providing easy access to frequently searched services. + View search results in list or map form. + Save Resources as favorites for easy viewing later. + View the Resource in maps, call the Resource*, view their website, and get directions from your current location*. + See general information and primary services offered. + Share the Resource using SMS* or Email. + Quickly identify from the search results which Resources are handicap accessible and shelters.
