The title says it all... The magazine is great, the app is awful! Of 15 iPad magazine subscriptions I have this is the ONLY one that cannot figure out how to push a new issue. Without fail, the only way I can download the latest issue is to delete the app, reinstall the app, log back in, and then FINALLY see the new issue that Ive paid for. Year in advance. Infuriating!!!!! Rating two stars only because I live the magazine and am committed to a paperless lifestyle. Wish the app could get it together!!! Patience is wearing thin!
App is frustrating! Great magazine ... Get regular subscription
The new issues do not push through ... You have to delete and re-add the app every month to get the issue! I sent an email to subscriber services and havent heard a peep from them ...
Great magazine, horrible app
Ive been subscribing to this magazine through my iPad going on my second year now. I cant say enough good things about this magazine, but their app is horrible. New issues dont come thru in a timely manner and most of the time I have to delete the app and re-install it just to get the new issue. I also wish they would install a recipe box, so that I could easily save and find my favorite recipes. Id love to love this app as much as I love the magazine, but right now I just dont!
Subscription
I have a subscription and get the magazine by mail . I would like to have access to the mags on the app also! RIP OFF the way its set up I would have to pay for an Additional subscription. I have several other subscriptions through the mail and can use their apps with my existing account numbers .
Lame app
I tried to purchase one month to try out the magazine but cant view anything. The app charges you but wont let you see anything.
