Description

Finally, clock chimes for your iPhone and iPad! This app gives you four chime selections, including Westminster, Whittington, and St. Michael. You can choose the schedule the chimes will play on, which means they can be silenced at night. Chimes will play in the background whether the app is running or not. Its the perfect companion to News Clocks, the popular world clock. Please note: your ringer volume must be turned on in order to hear the chimes. Yes, even the iPad has a ringer volume.

I like this app. It reminds me of the Ridgeway Grandfather Clock I have in my house that used to be in my parents house. Good Stuff!!

i tried a variety of time settings and app status states and never worked once 

Worked well until the 5.0 software upgrade. Now does not work. Please fix.

Its nice. I like how you can set it to go off only during a certain period. However, I wish I could set it to go off every 15 minutes, and I also dont like the bells so much. The sound is cheap and manufactured on all except Westminister A, and that one sounds out of tune to me.

5.0 System upgrade

Sorry for my previous review stating that chimes stopped working after the 5.0 upgrade. Chimes has to be enabled to report notifications under the Notifications menu in System. Then it appears to chime normally on the hour.

Cheezy nonaccurate sound

I was very annoyed to find that the "bell" sounds are not at all like actual clock sounds, but more like a cheap electronic keyboard sort of bell sound. Even the beautiful slow timing of the chimes, that should be there, and easy to do, is not.

The app will not work nor does it show up in notifications. Very disappointed. Is there anyway to get a refund?
