Description
Values are priorities that tell you how to spend your time right here, right now. Having a clear sense of your hierarchy of values will aid your personal development. This test will help you determine your most important values by using a forced-choice matrix.
A forced-choice matrix is a very helpful way to rank a list of things by importance. Heres how it works:
When you press the Start button, youll be presented with a long list of abstract values, such as Adventure, Independence, Fun, and Success. Scroll through the list and select the values that most resonate with you. When youre done, you will be asked to compare every value you chose, two at a time. Suppose youre presented with this pair: Adventure or Independence. They may both be interesting to you. Ask yourself: which is more important to me? If I could only have one of these two, which would I choose? Then select the one that is your higher value. When you are finished, you will see a list of all the values you chose and the rank you gave them.
