Description
The Cockney Translator provides the opportunity to translate normal English words and phrases into Cockney rhyming slang - as spoken in East London.
If you want to buy an umbrella before it rains the translator will help you to ask for an "AUNTIE ELLA before it RIVER SEINES" - thus communicating efficeintly with Londoners.
As an example, it will be ideal for communicating with locals for tourists visiting London for the 2012 Olympics.
The App features the translator, in which text can be typed, pasted or obtained from a selection of random phrases, quotes and lyrics.
It also features a phrasebook of useful phrases for tourists, an English-to-Cockney dictionary and a Cockney-to-English dictionary.
It features over 1000 words in the dictionaries.
