Description

Gradient level reads the current slope as a percentage. Often used on roads and railroads to indicate the steepness of a grade. Many model railroaders use this while building layouts. Gradient level works in auto mode to read the grade from any of the 6 sides of a device automatically. It can optionally be locked to read from the right or back side. Each side can be calibrated independently of the others.

Excellent!

Hey Chief · 14 years ago

If you are building a model railroad, it is very important to keep the inclines within a realistic range. This app has made it very easy to do this. You simply place your iPad or iPhone on a known level surface, push a button to calibrate and you are ready to go. As far as I can tell, it is extremely accurate. I was ready to spend around $75 for a device that does the same thing when I heard this was being developed. I highly recommend this (and their other apps), for anyone interested in model railroading.

Beautifully simple; does what it says; accurate. Sure beats spending $40 on a dedicated digital slope meter!
