Description
MathFlash delivers an easy way for children to drill basic math facts.
We created a simple flash card system to help our daughter, who is in 1st Grade, memorize basic addition and subtraction facts; as well as challenge our son, who is in 6th Grade, with the harder multiplication and division problems. MathFlash configures as high as the 15s table.
The MathFlash app developed as a family collaborative effort. Kevin wrote the code and models the flash card app in the instructional video; Nina designed the look and narrates the video; our son, Bailey, created the icon, and our daughter, Maya, came up with the name.
We have used MathFlash for our kids as a time-filler while waiting at the doctor’s office, while waiting for our food to arrive at restaurants, and sometimes even to divert them from fighting with each other in the car!
In our opinion, MathFlash provides a simple, easy to configure method of creating math flashcards for a wide range of age groups to master basic math facts.
