Description
CSIRO has developed a geothermal solution for cooling the Pawsey Centre supercomputer in Perth known as Groundwater Cooling. This innovative project is the first of its kind in Australia, and is expected to save up to 14.5 million litres of water in the first two years of operation.
The CSIRO Groundwater Cooling app can be used to view live data feeds showing the current cooling load, flow rate and total water savings of the system.
