Description
The PAH ISS app has been built on CSIROs MoTER platform. Mobile Technology for Rehabilitation (MoTER) is the CSIRO’s research platform for discovering new ways of delivering health care using smartphone technology. The MoTER app is intended for use by participants in our research projects, which currently focusses on chronic diseases such as diabetes, cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation.
MoTER helps clinicians and patients manage the patient’s chronic disease through education, monitoring, coaching and counselling, promoting self-management and delivering behaviour change interventions.
CSIRO conducts MoTER research through the Australian e-Health Research Centre (a joint venture between CSIRO and Queensland Health) in collaboration with academic, clinical research and charitable partners.
