Description

Do you want to get your weather charts without using an internet connection or a dedicated computer? HF Weather Fax lets you receive marine weather radiofascimile transmissions, using the audio from your HF marine radio. Just set it next to the radios speaker or headphones, tune in a weather fax frequency, and watch the images come in. The app can also receive audio from Bluetooth audio devices. HF Weather Fax is perfect for mariners who want to be able to view the latest weather reports and forecasts. Received fax images can be manually or automatically saved, and viewed later. You can also export them to your computer using iTunes. There is also a built in copy of the NOAA/NWS Radiofacsimile schedule, and an option to download the latest copy of the schedule from the NWS website. Une appli géniale pour le décodage de cartes météo en mobilité. Pour tous les SWL amateurs de décodage! Plus besoin dun portable pour les modes numériques, il y a maintenant des applis pour ça sur iOS ! Parce quinternet ne doit pas être le seul moyen de broadcaster des Informations, vive le HFFax, la CW et RTTY ! Jattends désormais un portage de MultiMode sous iOS ! Continuez !

Très bien, plus besoin dun encombrant PC pour recevoir des cartes météo. Néanmoins il sagira de soigner le signal reçu et en particulier davoir quelques mètres de longueur de fil lorsque le récepteur est de type portatif. Appli intuitive.

J ai connu a la mer tout ce qui existe en terme de logiciels weatherfax depuis 15 ans, celui ci est le plus simple et le meilleur en terme de qualité et de simplicité. Merci

This is one of the best apps available for cruisers in need of NOAA forecasts. I use it frequently offshore and for passage planning. Highly recommended.
