Description

Do you suffer from recurring headaches? Maybe you’ve tried countless things to relieve your pain. Wouldn’t it help you to keep track of your headaches, disability, medications taken, and triggers as you have your headaches? Use the most popular headache diary on the app store (over 180,000 downloads to date)! (5 Stars) "Loved the app and the new update makes tracking the migraines even better. Being able to note the possible triggers and then add my own notes for each headache is a big plus. Definitely worth the $$" -jtsmaman (5 Stars) "I liked the app before, but now it is perfect. My doctor loves the reports and now he is even telling his patients to get it. The triggers and notes work great. Thanks for making this app." -NYblondey When you see the doctor he needs information about your headaches to help you but you’re stumped by the questions that need answering. • How many headaches you are having? • How disabling are they? • What medications are you trying? • Are your headache preventatives working? • Are there any triggers you can identify? When you’re enduring a headache, keeping track of which medications you have taken, foods that might have triggered an attack or charting the time you are disabled is more than you feel up to. Yet, giving your physician the correct data about your headaches is essential to getting the best headache care. Luckily, there’s help for you here. iHeadache has everything you need to track your headache symptoms, disability, triggers and medications in a pain-free way. With iHeadache, your iPhone becomes a headache diary that’s going to help you and your doctor diagnose and treat your pain. iHeadache was developed by neurologist, researcher and headache specialist, Dr. Brian D. Loftus. Who better than a specialist to create the most accurate and important headache tracking tool available? One of the unique features of iHeadache is that it can tell you the type of headache you’re having by capturing and analyzing real time information. The app uses criteria specified by the International Headache Society to classify your headache as a migraine, probable migraine, tension headache or unclassified headache. This application is like having a doctor in your device. What kind of information does iHeadache track, record and analyze? • Symptoms • Duration and severity • Disability and impact • Medication and usage • Number of headaches • Headache triggers The app is flexible, allowing you to create custom triggers and medications, as well as enter notes about each headache. iHeadache is the perfect tool for gathering everything you need to know in one convenient place. You can even generate reports to share with your physician. Break down the information into 7, 28 or 30 days, or by specific months to show: • The types of headaches you have • The number of headaches during a specified period of time • Medications and dosages • The length of time you are completely and partially disabled • Your MIDAS (Migraine Disability Assessment Scale) score • The sum of your headache triggers • Notes The information and analysis units in iHeadache have been designed to help you and your doctor design an informed, optimized treatment plan. The report is specifically formatted so your physician can quickly analyze the data about your headaches. You can even choose to export your diary to a CSV file that can be opened in Excel, Numbers or other spreadsheet applications. Peut mieux faire

Kinoo26 · 14 years ago · v1.45

RyanHunter · 14 years ago · v1.45

B. bevorzugt an bestimmten Tagen auftritt.

Fabulous

This program is fantastic! My neurologist was always after me to keep a headache journal, and I never did because he wanted so much detail, but this program covers most of it. I would love a few minor changes. Now you enter Initial Severity and Maximum Severity, and only have the three options. My neurologist would like me to report my pain severity on a scale of 1 to 10, and to keep track of the changes in severity as time passes throughout the day. It would be nice if the severity was more like the Medications tab, so that you could enter it throughout the day and have the program note the time, and if you could enter it on a numeric scale. As it stands, I have to type this manually in Notes, which still gets the job done. I would also like to be able to input an actual end time for the reported headache, instead of being limited to "more than 4 hours." This is a must have for headache sufferers!

Excellent Tracking System

Notes option has been added. Also I emailed the developer with a suggestion and the response was immediate. Very helpful people to deal with. I agree with the reviewer who stated they would like to see a 1 - 10 rating scale. That is how I categorize my headaches in the notes portion.

Big Performance Improvement

Tim_bit · 15 years ago

I was a big fan of this App before, but it has been improved. The performance improvements that have been made in this latest update (v 1.40) are great. I found it slow and frustrating when trying to access the headache Log before. The App is now much quicker and more responsive to user inputs. Definitely a must have App for migraine sufferers looking to help their physician in helping them. As far as further improvements/ changes I would like to see: - It would be nice to track work days missed due to headache. This could perhaps be accomplished with the addition of a simple check box on the day of the headache entry. - A graphical display of sorts would be sweet. Havent put thought into exactly how it could be depicted, but some sort of overlapping graph displaying when a user is suffering with headache and when abortive medications are taken. This may help the user and their physician in identifying medication over-usage/ rebound headache. Thanks for your efforts in keeping this App up to date and full functioning. I wouldnt want to be without it.

Thank you

I also appreciate the reviews, I have been wanting a graph function as well, not all Doctors are willing to read the log and I find trying to sort through the dates, severity and meds a lot. My migraines generally span three days, the current dates dont allow fir this to be recorded.

Pretty good

torndownunit · 15 years ago · v1.40

Good application. Needs more general pain meds in its medication database since a lot of them are used for treatment. It also needs way more options for duration. Eg the longest option is "over 4 hours". Most of us have headaches that last multiple days.
