It worked when I paired it the first time with the app, after that it has not paired since. The iPhone itself pairs but the app refuses, which is super annoying and disappointing.
Paired the first and second night and not since. I can’t turn the alarm off manually and actually unplugged it today so the alarm wouldn’t go off (it did anyway). So great when it worked but without the ability to run it /edit alarms etc from the app it’s no good.

I'm ready to return this clock. The app rarely works. It won't pair with my phone. I can't believe it hasn't been fixed. It would appear the app has been a problem for a long time.
I purchased this product after reading the reviews of the app, believing that it had to be fixed after all the negative reviews. Nope. iPhone 7plus connected one time. Now it says it is connected, the iHome Zenergy says paired, but the controls don't load on the app. Totally worthless. As much as I think we would love this device, I think I am going to send it back to Amazon. I just can't see paying $99.00 for something that doesn't work properly.
The app is terrible, I cannot believe this company allows something this bad to be released. Without the app, the device is borderline useless. Unfortunately, we are outside of the return window. Cannot imagine we will ever purchase another ihome product
