When I type a word the game crashes

This program takes very little time to master and offers a lot of content. I learned Swedish as a pre-school child in Sweden. Reading and expanding my vocabulary has been difficult and tiresome. The method offered with iSpeak brings use and learning together. I write an email in English to someone who can read Swedish. I study the translated message before sending it. Well worth $1.99 in my opinion. Being able to translate a Swedish email recieved would be worth... $19.00. Saving ones translated text will no doubt create a meaningful set of lessons for the user. This application is, to me, as much a toy as it is a tool for learning ... hur man skrivar pa Svenska.

I was reluctant to pay $2 for a language app since so many others are free, but Im glad I did! This has a seemingly endless vocabulary: I even put in slang words & phrases & they translated totally accurately and "speaks" them correctly as well!

I was incorrect in stating that the saved translations were not kept between sessions; they are saved. Apparently I was doing something wrong. However, I still have the issue of hanging after several "Speak Its".

Perhaps it was my fault that I failed to understand that I had to save EVERY SINGLE word I have translated to have it in my library for OFFLINE USE. I assumed that a sizable number of words were part of the iPhones database, as the app itself it large. I think it is not convenient but rather laborious that I cannot use this app OFFLINE as the program said. They should have made it clearer (for dummies like myself) that one can only use those words offline that he has ALREADY DOWNLOADED. This is prohibitive and makes the words which are accessible rather limited.

Wifi access?

The app doesnt work without internet connection contrary to what iTunes stated. Thats upsetting. I cant use it unless Im in a place where I can have internet connection. Other than that I found translations to be pretty accurate.

no library?

I get it... no library to keep the size down and to allow for constant updating to the database. BUT... I am in Sweden... and I dont have wireless access. I have a network line to my computer where I am staying and I downloaded this app to use... no good. It doesnt work at all. :( This product discription was not clear at all. Sorry, I have no choice but to give this product 1 stars cause I have no idea if it works or not.
