Description
Jazz Box is a chord and scale reference for students of music improvisation, and applies to most any genre.
Have you ever felt your improvisation needs more zip? This app will show you different scales that may be played over a given chord. For example, there are seven scales that can be played over a dominant 7 chord! Place your iPhone, iPod or iPad on your music stand and try out new scale-chord combinations to expand your improvisational skills.

-View 38 jazz chords in any key on a bass or treble clef staff.
-Search chords by name or symbol.
-Choose to display the correct or easy chord spelling.
Scale Reference:
-Search and view 31 jazz scales in any key on a bass or treble clef staff.
-View alternate names for scales with multiple names.
Learn Reference:
-View scales that can be played over a given chord in any key on a bass or treble clef staff.
-Read tips from jazz pros on how to manage different chord and scale combinations.
-Reference a library of scale and chord theory basics.
Settings:
-Choose "correct" or "easy" chord spelling option based on your ability to read less used accidentals like E#, or Bbb.
