Lineup Buddy™ is a Little League or Youth Softball Coach’s best buddy! Little League Baseball and girls’ softball for young kids (ages 5-9) have more rules in place than ever to ensure a “fair” experience for all players: A player may not play two consecutive innings in the outfield, A player may not play the same infield position in the same game, teams must bat the full roster in rotation, etc. Instead of keeping complicated spreadsheets or drawing plans in the infield dirt before each inning, Lineup Buddy™ lets you forget about all the rules and do what you do best- coach! Now all you have to do is enter the player names ONCE and Lineup Buddy™ automatically generates a lineup for each game of the season, rotating players through the lineup and positions each inning for an entire season. Lineup Buddy™ even lets you change the lineup to accommodate a catcher or remove a catcher with the single press of an on-screen button. But what about “no-shows”? Young kids and busy parents are always likely to miss a game or two without notifying the coach ahead of time. With Lineup Buddy™ “no-shows” are no longer a problem! Lineup Buddy™ will adjust and create a new lineup and positional rotation, all you have to do is uncheck the missing players and regenerate the lineup… it’s that easy! Waste of time

These reviews must be fake as this app is worthless to any actual little league coach. Its a dollar for a reason. And somehow overpriced. Deleted already. Dont waste your time.

Just got it already deleted it. Little league play 10 but bat all for a 13 player team only 12 spots and next year as many as 18 players, 10 play and rotate in and out so a waste of money

I have never been very familiar with baseball, but my son really wanted me to coach his little league team, so of course I agreed. After trying to organize the first games player rotation with a clipboard and paper it was a total nitemare. I did some research for a better solution and stumbled on the lineup buddy app. I decided to give it shot for the 2nd game and it was fantastic. It made rotating the players flawless and so simple. Best $.99 I could have spent. I highly recommend this to any league coach or parent.

Simple but good

This is a simple app but it works. saved me a lot of time versus excel. I was a little confused by the box after the player name but figured out it was for the last initial. Definitely recommend.

This app is a lifesaver. This is the best way to manage a rotating baseball lineup and keep track of everything on the fly. Well laid out, concise and easy to use. Two thumbs up.

This app is the greatest. If it wasnt for this app, Id never survive above all of the din from the helicopter parents, shouting kids, & unruly pets. Simple use to manage an unusually difficult set of tasks. Thanks for helping make Little League fun again.

Great app but...

If you coach baseball or softball for young kids you will love this app! As our season went on I realized more each game how much time this app saved me. mainly by watching the other teams coaches struggle between innings while we took the field quickly. Being able to share the lineup with my assistant coach was a useful feature. Only issue is the app doesnt work for older kids with fixed positions.
