VERY limited

lots of categories as advertised, BUT, 4 words per situation is a bit light. No full sentences. This is a pass even as a freebee

too light- need more substance

Lingolook has basic categories of flashcards for travel, food and so on, and they attach verbs..ie "I want" to them with sound to make a very short sentence. This is meant for someone with little or no knowledge of Italian. I found it too simplistic even for someone who took a basic italian course. Its a good refresher, but to light to be asking for the hefty payment, should offer this as or almost a free application.

Good reference in a pinch, but not a study tool

Looks nice on the screen, but I was dissapointed by the lack of real flashcards/quiz functions. Nothing really interactive except touchscreen playback. It would have been easy to make some hide/reveal quizzes for real practice...option to hear male voice would be good, too...

Perfect & fun to use

Great price. Images help to engage memory to the word. Vary helpful.

Best Italian Learning App!

Review of version 2.2 My fiancée lives in Verona, Italy and this is the best learning aid I found yet! I’m a slow learn so I’m quite satisfied with this wonderful App that helps be focus on phrases at my own pace. In fact, I would love to see more verbal phrases and words added that include numbers, days, months, holidays, etc. Anyway, you really can’t go wrong if you’re a beginner to the Italian language. Regards, ~DD

Very handy

I used this app practicing my phrases before I visited Rome, and also many times during my trip. It was very convenient and good to have in your pocket when you need it. Biggest plus and why its worth the money: the translations are spoken to you and can be repeated over and over quickly with a tap until you can repeat it yourself perfectly. Its simple, easy to navigate, and covers all the basics.

Very limited

The description looked OK and then I dowloaded it. Very limited app with very little information. This might be OK for a 99 cent app, but not worth a penny more. The one star rating I gave is too high for this app!
