Fehlender Kreisverkehr

Ansich ist die Navi ja recht gut. Aber seit fast 2 Jahren gibt es in Martinsried einen 2. Kreisverkehr der immer noch nicht eingepflegt ist. Was für mich komisch ist, in den anderen Navi Apps Sygic GPS, Sygic Truck ist der Kreisverkehr schon längst eingebettet!! Warum da nicht????

Navi top, Download flop

Die Navi ist erste Klasse. Das Ding führt mich sehr zuverlässig durch fast ganz Europa und manchmal auch Afrika/Nord- und Südamerika. Die App wird, wie die Karten, sehr oft aktualisiert. Das ist absolut vorbildlich. Es gibt aber ein dickes Problem. Der Download der Karten war schon immer kritisch. So sind die Server extrem langsam. Und das geht nur noch per WLAN, das ging auch mal per Mobilfunk. Dumm, wenn man unterwegs ist und erst mal ein WLAN suchen muß. Der Download bricht immer wieder ab und muß ständig neu angestoßen werden. Und weil es obendrein so lahm ist, dauert das zwei bis drei Stunden. Ein Kartenteil von schlappen 150 MB dauert schon allein mal mehrere Minuten, ganz Deutschland dauert schlichtweg ewig. Und ich brauche aktuell zumindest ganz Nord-, West- und Südeuropa. Dafür kassiere ich drei Sterne, weil eine Offline-Navi nicht offline genutzt werden kann, wenn der Download so extrem schlecht funktioniert, alle Workarounds waren wirkungslos.

Echt eine super App. Ich wäre auch bereit, Geld dafür zu bezahlen. CarPlay funktioniert. Lediglich eine Meldung bei CarPlay muss ich bei jeder Navigation quittieren: Erweiterter Fahrassistent setzt Safety Lens voraus. Da ich keine Safety Lens habe, stört diese Meldung ungemein.

Guter Ansatz, aber leider werden unter CarPlay nicht alle gespeicherten Favoriten angezeigt (Sygic GPS hat das gleiche Problem) - einzig die App Sygic CarNavigation hat dieses Favoritenproblem unter CarPlay nicht. Lobenswert ist jedoch der Funktionsumfang für eine Gratisapp. In der aktuellen Konfiguration (Favoritenproblem) für mich nicht nutzbar. Update 18.01.2019: Danke an den Support. ?? Mit Hilfe von Ordnern in den Favoriten können mehr Favoriten gespeichert werden für CarPlay. Werde MagicEarth in den nächsten Tagen gern Sygic CarNavigation antreten lassen im Alltag.

I really do not like that I have to download the entire state of California. That is a huge amount amount of space. I don’t need it offline. I just need to input the address and go. Trying to leave Waze due to its recent unreliability, and this close but there yet.
