Description

Mini Metronome is a reference metronome that uses minimum screen estate. The deficiency that the volume of this metronome is outrageously low is acknowledged but not addressed due to the incompetence of the developer. One possible application of this low volume metronome is Get a tempo for a song by tapping or guessing: Clicking on the tempo panel yields the tempo control window. You can either tap on the button at the top or enter a tempo directly in the text field

Drum_Review

I was looking for a metronome to use with itunes to figure out the bpm of songs i do drum covers for. This one is alright except its very quiet and hard to get the metronome to start exactly when you want it to (theres a delay after you hit the start button for the metronome to actually start). I hope this is helpfulto future users. Buy if its for personal use but not if need for something professional in my opinion.

Great concept but...

It just needs to be louder. Its easy to drown it out if you play guitar to it at anything above a very light strum. This is with my iMac at full volume by the way. Update it and make it louder & Ill definitely give it 5 stars.

Sounds good, needs hotkey

What I like most about this metronome is that it changes tempo immediately when you type in a bpm rate. It also responds reasonably well to taps on the touchpad to set the tempo. What bugs me the most about it is that there is no key combo to press for start/stop. You have to mouse over and click the button every time. I would suggest making the spacebar a start/stop hotkey and/or making it user configurable. One feature that I am looking for in a metronome is the ability to set a starting tempo and a target tempo and a rate of increase, so that the speed ramps up automatically while it is playing. This would be very useful for practicing and I would love to see it in this metronome so that I dont have to go looking for another one.

Little too quiet

Its an ok metronome but I wish it could have been a little louder so I could hear it while I play.
