Description

Universal app! iOS 7 supported! (MRI Sim is included within the iRad MRI app as a free tool). - US/EU Patent Pending - iCat Medical Software© is the leading Radiology Software Company with the most complete Radiological series of apps in the AppStore! With dedicated scientific teams to support ALL fields in Radiology and with the best software engineers we provide a wide range of iPhone and iPad apps for Computed Tomography, MRI, General Radiology and Neuroradiology. visit us at: www.icatmed.com Finally an app that helps you understand how MRI works! An Interactive MRI Simulator (vendor FREE) tool that utilizes the Bloch equations to demonstrate signal result of specific tissues in the human body (a normal Brain MRI slice is used for the purposes of simulation) when MRI parameters are changed. The user can interact with the Simulator, change the sequence parameters (i.e TR, TE, Matrix Flip Angle etc), or chose one of the pre-fixed sequences. Calculating the signal intensity of the phantom 2D images are presented to the user! A great educational tool for medical students and professionals who wish to understand how MRI works. Key Features: • Interactive Custom Sequence Simulator • MRI parameters TR, TE, TI, Flip Angle, ESP, ETL, NEX, FOV, Matrix, Slice Thickness, Bandwidth etc... • Fat Suppression / Water Suppression Simulation • Zoomable phantom image • Exam Time Calculator • Rel. SNR display • Voxel Size display • MRI Acronyms Table For feedback/ suggestions please email: [email protected]

Totaler Müll

ValusCore · 13 years ago · v1.0.2

Würde ich nicht kaufen! Totaler Schrott. Man kann in die Bilder nicht reinzoomen, hat keine vollständige Optionsauswahl. Pluspunkt aber ist die Tabelle.

MRI Images not realistic

Don Segafredo · 13 years ago · v1.0.3

MRI Images not realistic, just schematic - not worth the money!

Çöpe atın

Gnrozcn077 · 11 years ago · v2.0

Arkadaşlar sakın böyle bir programa boşa para vermeyin o kadar boş bir program ki iğrenç ötesi ve fotoğraflar tamamen beklentilerin çok dışında hiç beğenmeyeceksiniz...

Primitive

Gorilka · 13 years ago · v1.0.3

Very primitive program. I dont recommend it.

Nice concept, needs work

The "MRI Sim" is a promising tool. However, the current version is not intuitive and is unlikely to help students understand the concepts of MR contrast and SNR. The quality of the software does not justify a professional price, and potential users will be better served by the free Java simulator "Virtual Magnetic Resonance Imager" (vmrt). I encourage the authors of "MRI sim" to examine vmrt, as an iPad capable MRI simulator would be a great instructional tool. The sequence panel (top left) and Custom sequence panel (bottom right) need to be integrated into a single panel, such that choosing the sequence type from a pull down menu displays the appropriate adjustments. The vmrt shows how to do this. The current settings are confusing for new users. The SNR-tradeoffs panel (bottom left) should show the values for the sliders, in the same way as the sequence panel. In other words, someone should be able to see what the NEX value required for a given SNR (NEX=2 SNR=141%) The Image Appearance Panel should not only show image contrast, but also matrix resolution. In addition, like vmrt the software should allow the user to view a real object (e.g. human head), so you can see the contrast in an intuitive form and see the influence of phase wrap for small FOVs.

Expensive

It doent really help, expensive for this kind of application. Theres not much to learn, the image that been used for simulation is only brain. Cannot be recommended. I want my money back, can I???

Would be greater with more options

This is a great app for learning and figuring out MR trade offs. The only thing that would make it better is if there where more anatomy parts to play with. Also, if the images could possibly look more realistic and bigger. Not to mention, a pop up instructor would be great to explain things. Eventually, I feel this app can grow into an all in one tool to pass the registry! Id pay $50 bucks for that!
