Description

An authentic prayer wheel right from the Tibetan Jokhang Monastery. "It just feels right!" "Improving your karma has never been more enjoyable."" Even if you are not a Tibetan Buddhist spinning the prayer wheel will help you relax and accumulate good karma. "My Prayer Wheel" does everything to ensure that the prayer wheel implementation is as faithful as possible. The wheel is carefully placed into a photograph of prayer wheels taken in the Jokhang Temple, the spiritual center of Lhasa. Sound effects when touching the wheel, speed dependent monk chants and background information about prayer wheels complete the package. An automatic mode is included that emulates the practice of automatically spinning prayer wheels such as water or wind wheels. "My Prayer Wheel" is the perfect companion for every Tibetan Buddhist and the closest thing you can get to a real prayer wheel.

This is a nice app. Monks chant as the prayer wheel turns. Swipe your finger across the screen to move it. Well worth the ninety nine cents.

More options please

As much as I appreciate this app I would love to see more options. It would be nice to add a variety of chants. "Om mani padme hum" for one. The option to hear the gong only without the chant when it is in manual mode and the option to add ones own music/favorite chant from a file. As it is now it should not be more than 99 cents. With added features it would be well worth the 2.00 that I paid. Thank you for the goodness that is
