Description
Join me for a trip to Tibet and China. My name is Gottfried and I will be your tour guide.
Together we will travel through this fascinating part of Asia in a multimedia show with interesting pictures of the region, relaxing music and full audio commentary (in English or German).
We begin with a river cruise along the Yangtze River through the picturesque Three Gorges. Since we traveled there before the Three Gorges Dam was finished, you are be able to experience the scenery in its original form.
After a short stopover in Chongqing we continue to Shanghai, the bustling metropolis on Chinas east coast. Among other things we find time for one of the biggest hobbies of the Chinese, a professional photo shoot.
Part three of our journey takes us to Tibet. You will witness a landscape characterized by high mountain ranges, visit Buddhist monasteries and the famous Potala Palace. We are also going to attend a Tibetan horse riding festival.
Along the way I will give you background information about our destinations, the people and their culture. Additionally I am going to offer some travel tips if you would like to go there yourself one day.
