Description
Ride the coaster, experience the thrill and share the fun. When you take your iPhone onto your next roller coaster, myCoaster captures the experience and excitement by using the built in accelerometer, gyroscope, timer, and GPS capabilities of your iPhone.
To get started, simply enter the name of the Amusement Park and the Name of the Coaster on the App where it indicates. Before the ride begins, activate the App and place the iPhone in your pocket or anywhere that is secure. As the ride progresses, the App captures the acceleration you experience and will log the peak acceleration and total ride time. If the App obtains a GPS lock, it will record the maximum velocity reached on the ride as well as distance traveled.
After the ride, you can share your experience with your friends by Tweeting or by E-mailing the results. All ride data is stored and may be reviewed individually and sent out at any time.
Also works while you’re riding in your car.
