Description
The Earth has a heartbeat.
Around 2.4 billion years ago, early cyanobacteria began releasing oxygen. Over millions of years, the ozone layer formed, the ionosphere stabilized — creating an electromagnetic cavity that lightning now keeps continuously alive, humming at 7.83 Hz. This is the Schumann Resonance. Life helped create this frequency, and has been evolving within it ever since.
Tera 7.83 is a meditation app built around this frequency.
HOW IT WORKS
Each session moves through three phases:
- Calm — eases you in with binaural audio and gentle haptics
- Meditate — holds the 7.83 Hz frequency at its deepest
- Come Out — gradually returns you, no jarring alarm
Binaural audio delivers two slightly different tones — one in each ear — guiding your brain toward 7.83 Hz. Headphones give you the full effect. Gentle haptic pulses offer a rhythm your breath can follow if it chooses.
APPLE WATCH INTEGRATION (PREMIUM)
With an Apple Watch and the Premium upgrade, Tera tracks your heart rate across all three phases — showing you exactly how your body responds to each session. Every session is logged to Apple Health automatically.
SESSION HISTORY & TRENDS (PREMIUM)
Review every session with a full heart rate chart and phase breakdown. Track your Settling Drop — the difference between your Calm and Meditate heart rate — over weeks and months. See your consistency streak and long-term progress.
ONE-TIME PURCHASE. NO SUBSCRIPTION.
Most meditation apps charge $50–70 a year, forever. Tera is $6.99. Once. Forever. Family Sharing included.
DESIGNED FOR DAILY PRACTICE
Set your session length, choose your carrier frequency, pick your end chime, and set an intention. Then put the phone down and close your eyes. Tera does the rest.
Tera 7.83 is designed for relaxation and general wellbeing. It is not a medical device.
