Description

Optimism is a mood chart app that helps you develop strategies to manage depression, bipolar or other physical and mental health conditions. It can be customized completely to suit your specific circumstances, making it relevant to any health condition that affects (or is affected by) mood. Optimism helps you to: • Monitor and develop strategies, specific to yourself, that help you remain in good health. • Grow in your understanding of “triggers” that affect you, and the early warning signs or symptoms of a decline in mental health. • Find concrete starting points for discovering interactions between the factors that affect you. Charts and reports form a feedback loop, which helps you detect these interactions more easily. • Develop a wellness plan that documents your strategies and appropriate steps in the event of illness. It can be easily and regularly updated as self-understanding increases. Optimism provides good integration with health providers, with detailed histories that can be reviewed quickly. It is grounded in preventative health and early intervention for better health outcomes.

Eu esava procurando um app que me fornecesse um diário médico, por recomendação da minha homeopata. Este é voltado à pacientes de terapias, mas serve também para quem precisa fazer um diário para sua homeopata, nutricionista, ou até para si mesmo se quiser. Muito completo, com opções de customização de menus e leve, fácil de usar.

Das hier ist eine echte Perle des App Stores. Umfangreich, recht stark konfigurierbar und ein zwar unspektakuläres, dafür aber ordentliches und aufgeräumtes Interface. Da sich die Variablen verändern lassen, kann man das Programm auch nutzen um andere Dinge aufzuzeichnen und zu visualisieren, etwa Workouts oder Arbeitsbewältigung. Das einzige was ich mir noch wünschen würde wäre eine Deutsche Lokalisierung - ansonsten wirklich ein außerordentlich gutes Freeware-Programm.

I have been using this software for the past couple of months, and it has been extremely helpful in picking up subtle patterns. I suffer ongoing migraine headaches (5+ years of daily symptoms), and Optimism has been helpful in following the effects of changes in medication. I have also, due to my own ineptness, needed some tech support, and James has been prompt, helpful and patient. I could not ask for more from the software, being incredibly flexible to customize to my needs, or the developer, so eager to help. Incidently, this software could easily be adapted for depression sufferers, those with chronic pain, or even athletes. It is ideal for someone working with a doctor to adjust medication levels, and needing to determine the effectiveness of the changes, regardless of the medical condition being treated. Because the interface can be completely customized, and because it allows for not only yes/no but numerical values for responses, Optimism can be completely tailored to track the information you need in fairly precise detail. This allows for a much easier, objective assessment of how you are doing over a period of time, or how changes are affecting you.

Tried CBT Pad first, was impressed, worked flawlessly. Upgraded to OPTIMISM; completely customizable, great printout reports. Use with my Life Coach for: > Exercise > Diet > Stress (On Job) > Habit Creation Tiny Investment; Huge Return; BUY IT; USE DAILY. You won’t regret it.

Easy to Keep Up!

Im very impressed by this application! I have done mood tracking on my own for several years, however this makes it easy to keep up and be detailed with! I love that it also has space to create a Care Plan, and graphs out pertinent details!
