Description
This application displays the tabular view of periodic table and the list view containing the detailed information about each chemical element.
a) Periodic Table(Table View)
In the periodic table the chemical elements are organized on the basis of their atomic numbers, electron configurations, and recurring properties.
The elements are listed in order of increasing atomic number (the number of protons in the nucleus of an atom).The rows of the table are called periods and the columns are called the groups.The elements belonging to one group have few similar chemical properties.
The elements in the same group are displayed with the similar back ground colours in the periodic table. The chemical elements are mainly divided into Metals, Non Metals and Semi- conductors. Each of these is having different sub-groups.
b) List View
The list view displays the complete information about each element in the periodic table. The symbol, the origin of the name, group number, period’s number, atomic weight, density, melting point, boiling point, heat values of each element are displayed.
