This free basic app converts medical language into everyday English. It is based on the award-winning Plain Language Medical Dictionary widget designed by Taubman Health Sciences Library, University of Michigan. Features • Browse for a medical term and view its non-medical definition. • Search a prefix such as "cardio" to easily find the word you want. • Email the term and its definition to anyone you want.

Doesnt have a dang term. I couldnt find any of the medical terms I needed...im in high school anatomy.

This app is just a quick word guide. No spell check. So for me that is a major down point. Secondly the words in this app seem like they were just randomly picked. Leading me to believe that who ever made this app has no personal medical experience and may just be a student or a tech. Is a good start but ppl expect more out of the U of M. Thankfully Im a spartan fan :)!
