Its simple to use but really powerful. It supports almost every kind of text encoded SRT file. Just drop your SRT file, Premiere XML and a Title file to Premiere SRT, then export a xml with all titles for Premiere CC.

After SRT subtitles been imported to Premiere CC, you can edit them in Premiere.

System Requirements:
--Premiere CC 2014, 2015, 2016.
--Mac OS 10.8 or above

Important Notice:
Since Premiere Pro CC 2017(11.x) has a big change in title creation, please check if your Pr has a title export option(Check menu-File-->Export-->Title...). If its not supported, please DONT buy. Instead, New version Pr 2017 has an option for SRT import built in.

Very Niche but a life saver

Working on a documentary. Subtitle timming very important. Had the film transcribed/translated in Annotation Edit’ and needed to bring nearly 1,000 titles back into prmiere somehow, as editable titles. A lot of tools to import subs into premiere but they create one single video file, so you have to adjust individual subs using timecode, which is a very awkarwd workflow. This program converted the SRT file into individual titles in my timeline, matched to the SRT file timecode. Incredibley imoprtant! I realize this is very niche, most people would only sub their film when it’s complete, but this is insainely helpful for when your editing works in other languages. Needs to be promoted better in eiditing circles forums becasue I know a lot of people need this. 1 Issue - There is no “do not import duplicate files” setting. So it will imoprt files you already have in your project. (video. audio etc) If it could do the reverse, export the title files into an .SRT, that would be A ++

Saved lots of time

This is a simple, straightforward app for importing SRTs as subtitles into Premiere. I highly recommend you watch and follow the video instructions. I was getting errors until I discovered I was exporting the wrong XML. Once I got that figured out, this thing saved me hours of work for 10 bucks. Just make sure you watch your video to make sure your text didn’t go out of the text box.

Best Application

This application is very Easy for use and best working. before this app I Must Buy a very expensive software, But now with this application All my project was done.

Finally there is an app for Pr subtitles on Mac

Super easy to use and promising. There are issues for Pr to export FCP xml. So I cannot make sophisticated sequence, otherwise, it will crash Pr when I import the xml from Premiere SRT. I don’t think it’s a bug of Premiere Srt, If I make a simple sequence with just a basic video, it works really fantastic. I get what I paid for. Unfortueltly, this developer spend too much of my money for there apps. Hope they can make a completed subtitle app to get all the job done, not seperated to 10 apps.
