Crash, crash, crash

Cant read it, cant download it. The app is terrible. And I had to call customer service to be able to access my subscription on the computer. If you want to read this magazine, buy it in print. Dont waste your money on the electronic versions.

I purchased a subscription three issues back, but havent yet been able to read a single one. Keeps asking me to sign in with an email address and password... the one for my Apple ID is not what it wants. "App Support" takes me to a web page with lots of ads touting New Track Media as the beat solution for print publisher wanting to go digital... Not!

Dont buy the magazine through iTunes

There are three ways to get Quilters Magazine. Traditional print edition, Digital Edition, and iPad. Plus, if you wait long enough, they put out an annual compilation CD. If you subscribe to the print version, the digital edition comes with it. You have a userid/password with Quilters Magazine that can be used to bring up the digital edition through the the web browser or also through your iPad. However, if you buy the magazine through iTunes, you cant download it into a web browser, you can only read it through the iPad. THIS IS IMPORTANT. The digital edition has the ability to print out pages, a very useful thing, if you want to make one of the quilts. Also in the digital edition are buttons on some of the patterns to get a PDF file of a full size pattern. The iPad has those same PDF buttons, but theres no way to print any of the other pages. So you get less if you buy it through iTunes and you pay just as much. Boo, hiss... The application itself is OK, except for not printing.

This magazine will not load. You cannot get help from the app developer. Save your money and buy quilters newsletter by mail.

The magazine was fine before the latest update. Now, nothing will load and trying to contact someone is impossible. If the magazine wont load, how do they expect me to come up with a URL number???

The screen just freezes. I can see the cover, wont open, wont scroll. Junk. Dont waste time.
