Very good!! Love that you can save and tells you your location. Very accurate!! iPad allows you to put in names and you can email results. This is a great app and much better than paid apps out there. Thanks!!! Its awesome!!

Please add a recording sound

This app is really good, but really needs a sound to confirm that the button has been pushed to record a racer. Please add that soon.

Good start

Adding names to bib numbers before the race is important to getting out fast results. You also need to edit the results while the race is running, or at least after, just in case you miss a runner or if you record a split by accident. Could be a real nice apps with some upgrades.

Go for the Race Timer Pro

Pretty good app! I would like to share the race results with friends via facebook and/or twiter. Also, if we can save the BID # before the race, we would just push the BiD # so we would have the time and the possition of the competitor inmediately.

Answer to my prayers!

I needed a way to record race times for the Healthy Kids Running Series races, which includes short races (50 yards) with dozens of child participants. This app worked perfectly, allowing me to record times with one tap, especially useful for when I had 3 or 4 racers cross the line in a group. Unlike some other race timing apps I tested, this one was able to log the results quickly without needing to toggle between runners or restart the clock. Even better, once the times were logged, I was able to go back in and add the bib numbers and participant names to the race results. The full results can then be shared via email, with the app formatting everything into a clean, well-organized table. This app is exactly what I was looking for, and I cant recommend it enough.

Great Features. Reliability Issues.

We manage meet scoring and uploading results through Excel. The ability to copy and paste emailed info into a spreadsheet would make this tool a great primary source for timing track meets. My only issue is reliability--when I am watching the starter pistol or runners crossing the finish line, I dont always hit touch screen buttons reliably. An iPhone camera has the option of shutter release using the volume button. Why not have the same capability with this app? That way, I can have one thumb on the button, like a real stopwatch.
