RaceSplitter — Race Timer at Mac App Store analyse

Très décevant pour le prix. Chrono vraiment pas pratique a manipuler et très peu de possibilité de notes dinformations sur les équipes, les compétiteurs et les courses! Exportation des résultats basic. Jespère que les développeur vont améliorer le système dans les prochaine mise a jour.

Cette app fait exactement ce quelle prétend faire. Elle résoud de manière élégante et astucieuse les problèmes des départs groupés et des temps intermédiaires. Elle permet de transférer par email les listes de concurrents et les résultats, et de publier le tout sur le web. Attention, ce nest pas un simple chrono, il faut regarder la vidéo sur le site. Je ne pense pas quil y ait sur le marché un produit qui fasse la même chose pour ce prix.

Encore une très bonne mise-à-jour. Jutilise racesplitter pour donner des temps de passage sur le circuit de la Coupe Québec de ski de fond depuis le début de saison. Jai démontré les avantages de cette application à plusieurs entraîneurs et athlètes qui lutilisent maintenant. Le seul inconvénient est lutilisation à main nue de lécran tactile par temps froid.

I love this app. As a parent and sometime coach of Nordic skiers, we are always on the side of the trail trying to either write down or remember splits. It is great that I can input a race order before the race and then be able to get times/splits easily on the race trail. It is easy to use, the developers are responsive (I sent an email and less than 2 hours later, I got a reply), and although expensive for an iPhone app it is cheap compared to most race programs.

I have searched for applications like this for taking splits during races and most are either difficult to use or expensive. This application worked very well on my first attempt. Pros: Prior to the race: - The program walks you through setting up your race. - The application can take a start list submitted in a comma delimited format so you do not need to type in the entire start list. - If you need to make changes or create your own start list, it is an easy process. - The program supports 3 types of races to fit your need (mass start, interval start, wave start). During the race: - Entering bib numbers as they pass you is pretty simple (It definately beats out the sheet of paper and math on the fly). The less time I have to deal with calculating splits the more advice I can give athletes while they race. Very nice! - While entering bib numbers you can easily scroll through the split list to see who stands where. After the race: - You can scroll through the results and splits just like before - You can send results to an email account as a .csv file Cons: Prior to the race: - There is only one format for entering a compiled start list (by someone else). It is very limited and if you are not very computer savvy, it could be very difficult to translate a start list into the format necessary for RaceSplitter. During the race: - Last minute changes made to the start lists by the race officials can make things difficult. For example, if a bib is added on to the end of the start list, you will not be able to give that athlete a time as they do not have an entry in the RaceSplitter start list. So if a bib comes by you that is not in your list, there is no way to take a split for that kid. - If you miss an athlete, there is no way to put in a placeholder (blank) spot so that you can calculate it later when you find out who it was you missed. After the race: - Nothing really that I can tell so far. Overall, I give this application a 5 star rating as it is the first version, its easy to use, and it does more than expensive split applications do.

Just used racesplitter at our recent nordic skiing state meet- it worked great! Only tricky part is building the race but the folks at NENSA have been great at posting the files to download.
