SampleBox 01 - HipHop Groovebox at Mac App Store analyse

SampleBox is an entirely new type of iPhone music application. All the elements of a tight hiphop track were put into an intuitive interface so you can mix it up as you see fit MPC style. Samplebox 01 contains 8 two-bar loops, 4 scratch samples, 7 hiphop flavoured single-shot samples and a keyboard (synth strings). The keyboard contains only the notes of the D Harmonoic Minor Scale which is suited to the track so you cant hit a wrong note. All the loops & hits are also in the key of D to suit the track. An eight beat timer loops continuously turning queued loops (square pads) on and off. The single-shot samples (circular pads) fire immediately. Please look at the screenshots below for instructions on how to use SampleBox. PLEASE NOTE: The speaker in the iPhone and iPod Touch has poor low frequency response. As such the bass sample and the second melody sample will be inaudible without headphones. SampleBox 01 is the first edition of SampleBox with more editions to come.
