SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

• A VNC Server, such as UltraVNC or TightVNC, is required to connect to a Windows PC.
• Windows and Linux PCs can only send or receive text and URLs.
• Screens will not receive any sound from your computer. This is a limitation of the RFB protocol the app is using.
• Screens Connect requires OS X 10.6.8 Snow Leopard or later. You will need to create a free Screens ID.

This finally solves the issues with Lion machines. Its a straight-to-the-point tool with a nice interface. It can still be enhanced a little (organization of the thumbnails, resize…), but it works very smoothly now.

Jai acheté Screens pour remplacer mon précédent app VNC, mais je suis très deçu de cet app, pourtant bien renommé. Deconnexions intempestifs, gels de lecran distant, inversion de clic gauche/milieu, pertes aléatoires des mots de passe enregistrés… bref, pas à la hauteur de sa réputation et loin derrière certains concurrents qui ont des interfaces beaucoup moins soignés cest sur, mais qui ont le grand avantage de fonctionner correctement. __ I bought Screens to replace my previous VNC app, but I have to say I am very disappointed in it, despite its glowing reputation. Random disconnections, remote screen freezes, messed up left/middle clicks, loss of saved passwords… the list goes on, but basically this app is far behind its uglier, but far more reliable, competitors. Perhaps the people who rate this app highly are only using it to connect to other Macs, but in our mixed Mac/Windows/Linux environment it just falls flat on its face.

Même avec un compte Screen Connect, je nai pas réussi à me connecter au Mac depuis mon iPad… Grrr...
