Endlich gibt es PGP nun auch für das iPad/iPhone!!! Nach einem kurzem Test kann ich die App. sehr empfehlen. Der Import der Schlüssel (PGP Ver. 10) verlief absolut problemlos. Ich habe dafür den Goodreader benutzt. Es geht aber auch anders ;) Das Ver-/entschlüsseln von Mails/SMS klappt einwandfrei und ist aus meiner Sicht kinderleicht. Wer bislang seine Mails ohne Verschlüsselung verschickt hat, sollte sich SecuMail unbedingt anschauen!!! Den 5. Stern gibt es, sobald das Signieren von Mails funktioniert und die Schlüsselsuche noch weiter optimiert wird.

Works, but needs more work.
Frist, the program works and does what it should do, you can encrypt and decrypt emails with it (5 Stars for this). But for this steep price I would expect 2 more features which should make the users life easier (minus 2 stars). 1. Multipart Mime support Email are usually multipart mime encoded, so decoding all parts and offering separate handling for this (think file attachments) is a must. Also Id like to add files I want to encrypt (from Goodread for example, or even better dropbox support), this also implies multipart mime support for composing (email) messages. 2. Why encrypt and decrypt in 2 separate views? One view, two buttons makes more sense here.
Jetzt (erst) ist iPhone ein Buisness Handy
Ganz klar, 5 Sterne von mir. App. macht das was es machen soll & das kinderleicht!! Endlich ist EMail im geschäftlichen Sinne nun voll einsetzbar. Ganz dickes Lob, für mich die am meist herbei gesehnte App. fürs iPhone. Wenn jetzt noch MIME (siehe meinen Vorvorschreiber) unterstützt wird, würde ich 6 Sterne geben. Vielen Dank, weiter so ;-)
Basis PGP Funktionen vorhanden
Update 1.8: absolut professionell. Ich nutzte es mittlerweile für fast meine gesamte Mail-Kommunikation. Update 1.6: Nun ist SecuMail fast vollständig und somit jeden Penny wert. Alle Daumen hoch. Version 1.5: Die Basisfunktionen von PGP sind vorhanden. Updates kommen regelmäßig und erweitern jedesmal den Funktionsumpfang. Der Support antwortet schnell und kompetent. Weiter so! Endlich PGP für iOS.
Läuft.
Nach wie vor viel zu teuer, aber dafür auch brauchbar. Man findet günstigere GPG-Anwedungen für iOS, diese wird aber wenigstens ordentlich gepflegt und erfüllt ihren Dienst. Liebe Entwickler, versucht doch mal, die App zu einem günstigeren Preis anzubieten, dann kann ich Sie auch anderen potentiellen Nutzern empfehlen - die nutzen zur Zeit lieber das in iOS kostenfrei integrierte S/MIME.
Endlich PGP easy
Mit dieser Anwendung lassen sich die auf dem Desktop-PC verwendeten Schlüssel problemlos per Email importieren (geht wohl auch über Dropbox), sodass der Aufwand minimal ist. Emails und Anhänge lassen sich problemlos ver- und entschlüsseln. Am besten wäre es natürlich, wenn das Programm direkt wie ein Mailprogramm die Emails abrufen könnte, sodass deren Import ins Programm wegfallen könnte. Trotzdem, das Programm ist zwar teuer, aber es funktioniert eben, und darum 4 Sterne und meine Empfehlung.
With that price tag...
the app should offer a lot of features that others dont, but its just the other way around. For 10 times the price of oPenGP it is not possible to get private and public key into the app via iTunes. It only works with Dropbox. Are you kidding me?! A private key on a cloud service?! oPenGP has that feature and works as good as this bummer app.
