Seismos is the best way to get notified of earthquakes! For those of us who live in earthquake prone areas there is nothing worse than feeling an earthquake and wondering how far away it was or is something bigger on its way. With Seismos, you will get notified immediately after the USGS updates their feed with a notification based on criteria you provide. From a visual/educational standpoint, nothing is more interesting than seeing your customized list on a map to see whats "shaking".
