Temblor gives individuals the tools to understand their personal earthquake risk. Temblor provides free individualized earthquake risk information to the public. It’s the same basic info that we license to the insurance industry — the difference being volume of locations and depth of the analysis. Check your risk Under the “Your Risk” tab, enter your home address (or a city, state or geographic landmark) or find your location and instantly see the earthquake magnitude that location is likely to experience in your lifetime. Use the map layers to explore various hazards including shaking, liquefaction susceptibility, wildfire hazard and more (depending on location). Check your risk everywhere on Earth. Pan and zoom to view all recent earthquakes anywhere on the planet. Temblor merges earthquake catalogs from the major seismic agencies around the world into one real-time display of global earthquakes in the past 24 hours, 2 days, 7 days or 30 days. View faults throughout the world or in your backyard. Quake Alerts Temblor will send you a notification when an earthquake strikes near your location. This is NOT an earthquake early warning and is not intended to inform you of impending shaking. Various agencies around the world distribute early earthquake warnings to earthquake-prone regions. We encourage you to seek out your local agency to receive such alerts. Temblor Earthquake News “Articles” brings you to Temblor Earthquake News, a news platform dedicated to earthquake reporting. Temblor’s mission is to provide the public with accurate, accessible, and understandable information about earthquakes. I love that the app gives me recents earthquakes around my area and my hazard risk of my home. I also like that the people who came up with this app are scientist so the information is coming from a creditable source. I went to the actual website and they have tons of blogs on recent earthquakes so I can understand more and not just have news but actual earthquake info in detail! Cant wait until next update.

Ive tried many earthquake apps and this is by far my favorite. Easy to use and lots of customization options. If you want to find out how big that last "jolt" was or just an eq junkie, this is the app for you. It still amazes me to see graphically how many temblors are around me.
