Description

The Starfall™ ABCs app contains a free selection of activities from Starfall.com. This app is the first step of Starfall’s free Learn-to-Read sequence, which includes all of the basics for learning to read. Starfall™ activities motivate through exploration, positive reinforcement, and play. Children delight as they see, hear, and interact with letters and sounds in words, sentences, and games. They learn to recognize letters while developing the skills they need to become confident readers. All children, especially English language learners, benefit. So glad to finally see this in an app. This is an amazing resource. My 2 year old recognizes his letters already

Great idea, ugly execution

My son quite likes this app and the methodology of teaching the sounds of each letter is quite effective. However, the graphics have to be the ugliest Ive ever seen. Its like they cut and pasted the most ugly clip art into the game. Id love this app a lot more if they spent some time on graphic design.

My son who is in junior kindergarten was introduced to the website at school and loved it and now loves the app on his ipod touch and Starfall ABC has taught my 2 yr old daughter all of the sounds. Thanks for a wonderful website and app.

Just phonetic alphabets

I thought this is just like the websit that has everything but it covers only phonetic alphabets. Doesnt worth to buy.

Like the other reviewer, I thought there would be more content, like the website. It is just letter recognition and phonics. There are better free apps available. I cannot recommend this app.
