Take on the role of a Virtual Surgeon – You are in control as you perform a laparoscopic appendectomy on a patient in this interactive educational game!
A laparoscopic appendectomy, usually performed as an emergency surgery, is the approach used to remove a patient’s appendix. If a blockage develops between a patient’s appendix and intestine, he or she will likely face severe pain as well as vomiting and possibly fever. When this is the case, it is necessary to act quickly because if the appendix ruptures, the patient could experience internal infections that can be fatal. During this interactive surgery you will learn about the advantages of doing the procedure laparoscopically and the instruments used to prevent the need for a large incision. You will also use specialized instruments used to cauterize the appendicular artery and cut off and remove the appendix. Our patient needs our help right away, so let’s scrub in!

I actually had appendicitis and had it removed this game is nothing like my experience at the hospital plus its 1.99 for a game that lasts for two minutes
