Description

Tracks of Southern African animals - Track ID allows the user to find a track by animal and find an animal by track. To find the track of an animal refer to the alphabetic list of animals and select the one desired. To find an animal by track, select the track shape that best fits and then select the best size approximation measured against common objects. The possible track and animal is then displayed plus a notes page that includes a distribution map to check if the animal is found in that area. Covers, Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, southern Mozambique, South Africa, Lesotho and Swaziland.

Enttäuschend wenig Daten

Für den hohen Preis hatte ich wesentlich mehr erwartet, es sind nämlich nur Spuren der gängigsten Tiere enthalten. Auch eine Funktion, die eine Identifizierung über die Kamera erlaubt, wäre für diesen Preis angemessen, wenn man schon keine umfassendere Datenbank anbieten kann oder will (obwohl ich nicht wirklich damit gerechnet hatte, ansonsten wäre ein solches Feature sicher in der App-Beschreibung erwähnt worden). Ich würde für diese nicht mehr als basic App bestenfalls € 0,99 bezahlen, aber eigentlich wäre sie ein typisches Beispiel für eine kostenlose, werbefinanzierte App.
