TransparentGIF is a simple Application that removes a specified color from all frames of an Animated GIF. You can adjust the range or threshold of the color selected. I created TransparentGIF out of necessity for web designers. After capturing an Animated GIF of a SVG Animation and needing to quickly remove the background color, I found no tools for the Mac that would help. Some tools require you to remove a color layer by layer for all frames of the animation. They do not let you easily adjust the threshold of the color selected either. TransparentGIF solves this problem on the Mac. Now includes a powerful Animated GIF Editor. A complete toolset with selection tools, paint brushes, node editors, erasers, blur, smudge, clone, fill, text, and shape tools. Distortion tools, adjustments, and filters also included. Create or edit existing GIFs. Edit looping, frame duration, and frame order. Add and delete frames. Easily animate frames with the use of Layers. Add animations to existing animations with the GIF frame extraction tool.
