VacationPlanner at Mac App Store analyse

I just bought this App to plan my Disney Vacation. It is loads of fun from the countdown clock to the automatic itinerary feature. I dropped push pins at Fort Wilderness and several restaurants at EPCOT. Dining reservations and confirmations were easy to input and showed up in the Itenerary. I used the Web Gateway to link to the campfire movie schedule. I have not used the Transportation Module yet since I will be arriving by SUV. With the easy to use packing list, I won’t forget a thing. I plan to upload photos from the trip into the Photo module later on.

I was looking for something that would consolidate all key travel information. Unfortunately, while this program asks you to enter all relevant information such as confirmation numbers and flight numbers, the summary itinerary fails to include any of this information. I guess when you need that information, you are supposed to open up your computer and search for it under the relevant category. Save your money and just enter all the relevant information in your online calendar which can be accessed via mobile devices.

When I saw in the in the app store I thought this is a “must have” for my travel in Europe next month — especially since I could transfer all the info to one compact location on my iPhone. Unfortunately, the transfer to the VacationSync app never happens! My email to the developer for support went unanswered. Don’t waste ten bucks (like I did) on this junk.

No problem at all syncing with iPhone 3gs! Just got National Park Pass and had fun planning first trip. Tried out all the options: Calendar of Events, Room, Packing List, Itenerary, Budget, Tickets, Dining, Transportation, Web, and Locations. All worked like a breeze! This app sure adds to the joy of planning a trip! Thanks!
