Description

Voice Ear Training - the ear training app you play with your voice ! Voice Ear Training is a relative pitch ear training game that is designed to help you master how to hear, recognize and sing melodies, intervals, triads, and chords progressions. The way you play Voice Ear Training is by singing with the app! Each game was designed to work on a specific ear training skill in a musical context. The skills learned will apply directly to the music you are learning or creating. Voice Ear Training will play musical questions in the form of notes, melodies, and chord progression. You will answer the questions using your voice . Your iPhone/iPad will listen to your answer(s) and provide feedback. Each answer to the musical questions will appear on the screen as note or chord diagrams. You will see the diagrams in green if you answer correctly and in red if you answer incorrectly. Each game has multiple levels. Level 1 of each game only has two possible correct answers. Each additional level adds a new possible answer to the game. As you advance through the levels of each game, you will be amazed at how quickly you begin to naturally and instinctively recognize the notes and chords being played. You will be able to directly apply these new skills to any music you are listening to or learning and will be able to play back what you hear on your voice . The reason Voice Ear Training is so effective is because you are using your Voice to play the game. By doing so, you are training your hands to instinctively go where your ear hears. Voice Ear Training provides the following: -Built in Chromatic Tuner -Learn to hear and play Intervals in multiple fretboard positions -Learn to hear and instantly play any Melody -Master the sound of the fretboard by mastering the Triads game. -Power Chord - learn to hear and play back the most common chords and chord progressions in rock music. -Basic Chord Games - learn to hear and play along to any song Also included in Voice Ear Training: -Multiple Modes are include - Ionian, Dorian, Phrygian, Lydian, Mixolydian, Aeolian, Melodic Minor, Harmonic Minor -Note, Solfege, and Nashville Number System answer guides -Fast and Slow game speeds -Beginner and Advanced Modes -Fretboard and Staff views -Sight and Scale Singing Games -Sing 3rds, 4ths, 5ths -Includes all Bass, Banjo, Mandolin, Ukulele, Violin, Viola, and Cello games Violin Ear Training was created by an amateur guitarist that was frustrated by not being able to keep up with the pros he was privileged to play out and jam with. These pros could effortlessly play songs after just listening to them on the way to the gig or better yet, they could play music they had never heard before on stage and create interesting parts on the spot. The amateur had to spend countless hours memorizing and practicing the the songs on the set list. If there were any mid-song changes while on stage, the amateur was lost! What the amateur quickly realized was that the pros were not necessary playing difficult riffs and cool chops, but they could hear and play music as if they were talking...instinctively! They could always play the right notes at the right time. Their hands would instinctively go where their ears heard. They could speak the language of music. Out of the frustration of not being able to keep up with these pros, came Guitar Ear Training. The premise is simple; an App that can teach you to effortlessly and confidently hear and instinctively play music on the guitar in any setting. Whether on stage, writing, recording or just jamming with friends, Guitar Ear Trainings goal is simple. If you can hear it, you can play it. After successfully using Guitar Ear Training to grow as both a guitarist and musician, Violin Ear Training was created. Since the real secret in learning any instrument is to hear and speak the language of music, which the app teaches you to do, the same principles could easily be adapted to any instrument.

This app is really great. I have been playing guitar for a long while, then stopped because i couldn‘t "understand" music. This app helps greatly to learn recognise and reproduce notes with your voice (!) or any instrument - which in turn enables you to use this skill on any instrument.

Useless app

sat6002 · 10 years ago

The most useless app I have ever purchased. I dont see a point why to use it. It does not have any clear instructions. The app does not indicate how far wrong your singing played note and thus you dont know how to improve or correct your input. So as I said its useless and I regret I waste my money on this.

Good for absolute beginners maybe?

Wont let me skip levels. I just want to practice my sight singing but I have to go through an insane amount of beginner stuff. Not worth the time or money. Shouldnt need to waste 5 minutes singing just E and C only to add one note. Thats boring and if you already can do it, its a complete waste of time
