Great Interface

AppleThrylos · 9 years ago · v3.2.2

Excellent app. Easy to use, good price.

Great, but some suggestions

Rebelgamerforfun · 13 years ago · v1.2

My first ever review. Ill make it short. I read 2000 AD back in my teen days (80s) and issues are hard to get in Germany. So I am delighted to read the current progs once again. Love the subscription feature and the free back issues. :-) Pros: Subscription option, great resolution, 2000 AD on my iPad finally! Cons: Lack of organizing features (I want to put progs in order and folders), no auto zooming and panning like the DC app Still, thumbs up!

Problem with existing subscription

Salladhor Saan · 12 years ago · v2.0

...it shows "subscription inactive and issues are not accessible, ony when you try to buy a subscription does it say tat you already have one - annoying. Design is also not my cup of tea. Single Panel view a la Comixology would aso be welcome. Content is great, of course, but pease improve the presentation!

Superb app.

Hap-Hazzard · 12 years ago · v2.3

For any serious scifi fan, this app is a must have. If you dont already love 2000ad and Judge Dredd, this will change your mind.

Pretty good, but not quite great

Vivisected · 11 years ago · v2.3

This app is a pretty solid iOS comic reader. In app purchases are high resolution enough that you can resize a single panel to full screen on the larger iPad and it scales beautifully. My only bone to pick is that you cannot go to single page view with the device turned to landscape. While portrait works just fine, there doesnt seem to be a way to resize a single page to fit landscape without using zoom so that the second page is off screen. Fix this and/or add a Guided View type experience like Comixology and Kindle use and this would be one of the best readers around.

Good reader - Great comic!

Daijoki Futatsu · 10 years ago · v3.1

Decent reader and a great way to buy and consume the galaxies greatest comic! Cant beat getting my weekly fix of 2000AD and Judge Dredd delivered instantly to my iPad. With the new Rebellion ID you can also download from their website and use your favorite reader if you dont like this one... Definitely get the subscriptions - best bang for the buck for all you thrill seekers out there!

Horrible

Lauren OHalloran · 13 years ago

This app is horrible. I wanted to read the FULL comic Dredd because I saw the trailer at a movie, but instead this app lead me on. This was my first time ever reading a comic (Im a girl and never thought I would ever read one of these things ^.^) and the experience wasnt the best. I think Ill stick to manga for now on, at least they let you read the full series without making you pay for it. For anyone who wants to read the comic Dredd, forget about it. Its hard to find any scans online, and the actual site makes you pay for it. Jump manga actually allows sites such as Mangafox an Mangareader to actually publish the scans online FOR FREE. It actually helps business. I read the series D.Gray-man on Mangareader and liked it so much I went out and bought all the books. (there are 23 volumes and they cost at least $10 each, thats $230!) So in conclusion, if you bought this app to read the comic Dredd, delete it immediately. Your better off reading some other comic or -better yet- switch to manga! You dont have to pay for the books if you read the scans online and comics are the American version of Japanese manga that has been around for centuries.
