With the recent rise in west african artists and musicians venturing and making their mark into the global music and entertainment scene, there has been a high demand for a better understanding of the pidgin language spoken in most west african Nations. The need for a better understanding by africans in diaspora of the pidgin language has also sparked the high demand for a solution that will almost seamlessly teach the Pidgin Language. This is where WetinDey Comes in. WetinDey Pro is an online translation dictionary application for Nigerian, Ghanaian pidgin English. Nigerian Pidgin itself is an English-based pidgin and a creole language spoken across Nigeria, Ghana and a wider west african region. It is commonly reffered to as "Pidgin" or "Brokin". It is almost often not considered a creole language since most speakers are not native English speakers, although many children do learn it early as a means of communicating to people from same origin but different ethnicity. And now a language the rest of the world wants to learn. It does not really matter wether you are an african in diaspora, a back packer with an utmost love for languages, a lover of african music or have friends who are africans and youd like to join in the conversation. No matter what your connection with africa or africans might be, WetinDey is all you need.
